Rockwool Pipe Insulation, Rockwool Duct Insulation & Rockwool Slab Insulation
Rockwool RockLap H&V Pipe Sections are strong lengths of
pre-formed insulation with a one piece, factory applied foil facing with
integral self-adhesive lap. The Sections are designed for
thermal and acoustic insulation of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning
pipe work operating in the temperature range 0°C to 700°C. Rockwool Rocklap Pipe Insulation is one of the most enduring and well known brand names in the industry. Insulating the heating, ventilation and air conditioning
(HVAC) systems with ROCKWOOL®HVAC insulation can improve the energy
efficiency, fire safety and acoustic performance of a building. In addition to the fire protection benefits, ROCKWOOL® HVAC
insulation products offer excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
ROCKWOOL® insulation
products are made from stone wool – a blend of naturally occurring volcanic
diabase rock. It’s the special ingredient that ensures ROCKWOOL® insulation
protects against unwanted noise, fire, and provides unrivalled durability at no
cost to the environment. It’s a 4-in-1 solution.
- Resilient, high performance vapour barrier provided by
one-piece, reinforced foil with integral lap
- Fast and simple installation reduces costs and time on site
- Impressive acoustic insulation properties
- Nominal density not less than 120 kg/m3
- Tape requirement reduced
- Non-combustible A1 standard
- Long life and high shear resistance
Thermal Properties
The thermal performance will vary according to the
temperature. For more information about thermal performance refer to Part L
Brochure, product datasheet or the BS5422 brochure.
Fire Properties
RockLap H&V Pipe Sections are rated as A1
non-combustible.
Service Temperature
RockLap H&V Pipe Sections can be used for pipework at
0-700°C . Foil cannot go above 80°C, for more information please refer to the
datasheet.
Ozone Depleting Potential
Relying on entrapped air for its thermal properties, we are
proud to say that ROCKWOOL® RockLap HV Pipe Sections do not contain (and has
never contained) gases that have an ozone depleting potential (ODP).
Global Warming Potential
Relying on entrapped air for its thermal properties, we are
proud to say that ROCKWOOL® RockLap HV Pipe Sections do not contain (and has
never contained) gases that have a global warming potential (GWP). Therefore,
they have a zero GWP for the purposes of rating schemes such as the Code for
Sustainable Homes.
Third Party Approval
RockLap H&V holds London Underground Limited (LUL)
approval.
